Burke wins aboard Another Jayjay
The R.McDonald & Sons Handicap was won by the Michael Halford trained Another Jayjay after he ran out a 2 length win in the hands of Julie Burke who is proving very valuable for her 7 pound claim.
It was an evening of mixed fortunes for Burke as she got unseated in the first race after her mount Camden Princess stumbled 3f from home and then Burke got a heavy fall when Another Jayjay unseated her after the line.
Burke who is originally from Tipperary is apprenticed to Mick Halford and is enjoying a good season and notched up her 3rd winner of the season.
