Andrew Oliver's Bunk Off Early proved too strong for the favourite Rainfall Radar at the end of the extended mile maiden for three-year-olds plus in Cork.
This winner gave Billy Lee a first and last race double on the card as he won the opening contest on Leading Actress
He soon had Bunk Off Early (11/2) in the lead before the pair asserted in the home straight. They were a good four lengths clear in the last quarter of a mile and maintained the gallop to close out the race.
Rainfall Radar (7/4f) tried to chase down the winner but couldn't get on terms and went down by two and a quarter lengths. There was a gap of six and a half lengths back to Glib Speech in third at 16/1.
Bunk off Early shed his maiden tag at the seventh time of asking. On his last appearance he was third in a mile and a half maiden at Roscommon.
