Bringthehousedown (4/1) got off the mark at the seventh time of asking in the mile and a half handicap at Dundalk.
Shane Foley 's mount had too much firepower for Easy Boy the 9/4 favourite, as he galloped home by a length and three parts. Waterboy (8/1) was edged into third by a head.
On his penultimate start, Bringthehousedown had finished second over this course and distance in April.
Trainer Andrew Oliver said: "He's a four-year-old now and he's a big, unfurnished horse. We had to wait on him.
"He had a nice run here first-time out and then Navan we thought he would go well but it was muddling, sticky, old ground. We thought he would go on it but we were slightly disappointed so I'm glad to see he put that behind him today.
"Hopefully that's him on a roll and we'll see where we go from here. It was a great ride by Shane."
