Breezy Zoff doubled her career total, in her 35th, race when running home strongly in the second split of the Roscommon Racecourse On Facebook Handicap.
The 11/2 shot was ridden by Gary Carroll to try and chase down clear-leader Skontonovski a furlong and a-half out.
Skontonovski, who traded at 1.02 on Betfair, came back to the pursuers (headed by Breezy Zoff) 150 yards out and the distress signals were soon apparent.
Breezy Zoff powered to the front with 100 yards to travel and went on by a length and three-parts from fast-finishing Asisaid (4/1). Skontonovski (4/1) dropped to third, beaten three lengths by the winner.
Breezy Zoff's sole previous success came at the Curragh almost two years ago.
Gavin Cromwell said: “She's not winning out of turn, she tries hard.
“The ease in the ground, and they went good and hard, so everything fell right for her.
“I'm delighted for her, she's owned by a good bunch of lads and they've been very patient. It's well deserved.”
