The 63-rated eleven times previously raced Breaking News (6/1) struck in the Naas Maiden for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning.
Breaking News chased the leaders, and the daughter of Dawn Approach was ridden in second two furlongs out.
She improved to head Linus Larrabee (shaped through the race very much like a winner) inside the final furlong, staying on well to account for that rival by a length and three parts.
“She had a good run at the Curragh the last day where she was a little bit keen over seven," said Manning.
"She travelled well today and did everything right. She picked up and has done it well.”
R.P. Whelan, rider of Thanks Mam trained by Tracey Collins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action from halfway in this race.
