Brady's bunch complete double
Trainer Oliver Brady and stable claimer Ger Fox completed a double at Punchestown today when Maccas Lad made all to win the concluding Stars Of Tomorrow Bumper.
Fox, in almost identical tactics to his opening race winner One Cool Shabra made virtually all, and while he came under strong pressure approaching the straight, battled well to comfortably hold Crocus Bay
Afterwards Brady said “Maccas Lad is a horse who has had a lot of problems early in his career. I couldn’t get him sound - he broke down and had all sorts of problems with his back and legs.
“His owner was going to give up on him but I told her when he was right he was a good horse and I would prove it to her. He will go straight hurdling now.”
