Bowe seeking licence after Askanna success
Leading point-to-point trainer Colin Bowe saddled his fourth winner on the track when Askanna ran out a convincing winner of the mares maiden hurdle at Listowel.
Barry O'Neill drove his mount to the front two from home and she showed a good attitude to stick on well and assert from the last for a three-length success over Crevelea Lass
"She won two point-to-points so we knew she stayed. She'll go out to grass now," said Bowe.
"That's my fourth winner on the track. I have an interview next week and hopefully I can get a full licence."
