Colin Bowe and JJ Slevin brought up their Downpatrick doubles with 11/4 favourite Tranquil Magic in the extended two mile five handicap hurdle.

Tranquil Magic kept finding up the hill as she overhauled Better Back Bob (7/1) close home to win by a neck.

The pair pulled 28 lengths clear of Personal Shopper in third at 11/1.

Colin Bowe said: "That's grand as she has been placed two or three times. It's good to get the job done.

"We'll maybe try and win another handicap but she has won a point-to-point so maybe we will move on to a beginners' chase."

And on jockey JJ Slevin he said: "He is (riding out of his skin) but listen he rode point-to-point winners for me over the years so I know him well. And he's local, he's a neighbour."

Bowe won earlier on the card with Sharlanda in the mares' handicap hurdle while Slevin took the opener on board Unicorn for Joseph O'Brien.

Slevin picked up a five-day suspension for using the whip with excessive frequency on Tranquil Magic. He was also referred to R.A.C.E. for one day.
