One-time E1,000 purchase Boughtforasong claimed her third win at Down Royal today, landing the opening Magners Berry Handicap for trainer Georgios Pakidis and jockey Sean Corby.
The daughter of Footstepsinthesand was a cheap purchase a yearling and while unsuccessful in her first 21 starts, was today registering her second win for Pakidis and a third in total.
Afterwards Pakidis, who has 10 horses in training, stated "we have been trying from February to run her and also tried to breed from her but she is in good form today.
"I'd like to see her back at Dundalk - she worked really well there last week over six furlongs so I thought she'd run well today.
"She could go anywhere next over five or six furlongs on good ground."
