Gordon Elliott was cross-channel for his runners at Aintree, but the team from Cullentra House that stayed at home enjoyed a Navan treble, completed by The Very Man (evens) in the Hotel Park In St Johann Tirol Austria INH Flat Race.
It was a second winner on the day for Gigginstown House Stud after Hardline s victory in the Grade Three novice chase for Elliott and Davy Russell.
Gigginstown purchased The Very Man for 210,000 pounds after his point-to-point win for the Crawford brothers.
The Jeremy gelding led home a 1-3 for Elliott as he asserted in the final furlong to beat Neptune by three and three parts of a length with stable companion Bigbadandbeautiful half a length back in third.
“He seems to be sharp and they thought a lot of him when he won his point-to-point. The slow early pace kind of suited him as he’s a horse with gears, and he quickened up when I wanted him," said the successful pilot.
“He’s a lovely horse with a nice future.”
The other Elliott winner was Askari (Kevin Brogan up) in the two and three quarter mile handicap hurdle.
