Boogie has favourite backers dancing
First To Boogie and Sean Flanagan head for victory as Persian Wind and Luke Dempsey part company

The twelve length margin of victory for favourite First To Boogie in the Paddy Power 1800 721 821 Novice Handicap Chase at Naas only partly tells the story of the two and a half miler. Persian Wind a 9/1 shot, fancied in some quarters, was on terms with First To Boogie with every chance when stumbling and unseating Luke Dempsey at the final fence.
Up the run-in then it was Red River Gold that got closest but he was never going to lay a glove on the winner. Fitzhenry stayed on for third, half a length back.
"He's such an honest horse and I couldn't be happier with him. He came out of his summer break really well. I thought he was a little unlucky at Galway last time but things went our way today," said winning trainer Madeleine Tylicki in the aftermath.
"It looks like we are going to have a bit of fun with him over the winter. We'll make a plan when we see how he comes out of this race."
