Bonobo wins Tramore bumper

Jockey Katie Walsh partnered a winner on his first ride for trainer Kevin Prendergast when steering Bonobo to win the concluding Waterford & Tramore Racecourse Ladies Bumper at Tramore today.
Walsh, whose brother Ruby earlier had a winner with Passage Vendome produced Bonobo with a well timed challenge to edge out 33/1 shot Perrie Hill 0AWalsh later stated “it's great to ride a winner for Kevin as I'd never actually ridden for him before. I was a bit afraid that I was in front a bit soon but he held on well at the finish.”
