Bones much too strong
The Jimmy Coogan trained Mr Bones under Barry Cash, made use of a low chase rating to easily win the concluding Tramore-racecourse.com Handicap Steeplechase at Tramore this evening.
The 2/1 favourite went clear before the second last fence and eventually recorded a comfortable two and a half lengths win over Destined For Fame
Afterwards Coogan said “Mr Bones was well handicapped over fences (rated 95) having a hurdle mark of 114. I’ve no immediate plans with him but the Galway Festival may be an option later in the summer – he is a possible for the Galway Blazers Handicap Chase.”
