Bombalong sinks opposition
Katie Walsh's golden spell in recent months continued at Wexford today when winning on Daniel Miley's Bombalong in the first division of the Borro Mares Bumper.
Walsh raced Bombalong prominently before the daughter of Mr Combustible responded well to Walsh's drive in the straight to win a neck from Allyonice
Afterwards Miley reported “we were quite confident with Bombalong coming here and we'll go for either a winners' bumper or maiden hurdle next. She loves that quick ground although she ran a bit green when she was out in front.”
