Bolgers Book bounces back
Supporters of the Bolger yard may have lost out on a joint favourite in the opener, Doux Douce but they got their money back on Book Of Numbers in the fourth.
Kevin Manning rode the son of American sire, More Than Ready, and he stayed on well after leading entering the straight, going on to see off main market rival, Big Bad Billy Bob by four lengths in the Black Point Handicap.
Book Of Numbers was backed from 7/2 into 9/4 and he was bouncing back from a disappointing display at the Curragh on Monday when he got hampered. Jim Bolger trains the three-year-old for his wife Jackie.
