Bob too strong for Stone
Rigour Back Bob gave those that invested in him at odds of 4/9, an anxious time before landing the Moycarkey Novice Hurdle and then he had to survive a steward's enquiry before being confirmed the two length winner.
Edward O'Grady 's charge was always on the pace but he had a tough time seeing off winning pointer, Stonemaster A peck at the last by Rigour Back Bob caused him to go left and hamper the runner-up but the chestnut kept going well to prevail.
O'Grady commented afterwards: "We're delighted and he has now won two out of three (over hurdles). He'll go for another winners hurdle and we might step him up a little in trip. So far so good anyway and we're well pleased with him."
