Avenir D'Une Vie made all to land the three runner opener on Downpatrick's card for Henry de Bromhead.
The 6/5 joint favourite found more after the last to see off fellow 6/5 favourite Lethal Steps by two lengths.
Jockey Rachael Blackmore said: "He did it well in the end and he deserved to get that win today.
"He was jumping good and slick and it was great.
"The ground is very good."
The field was reduced to three as Cenotice (temperature) and Hannon (coughing) were non runners.
