Bishopsfurze is now 3 from 4
Bishopsfurze a dual bumper winner, got his hurdling career off to a good start by landing division one of the Irish Racing Yearbook Maiden Hurdle under Paul Townend.
Having touched 6/4 Willie Mullins' charge ended up 11/10 and the Clare Hurley-owned and bred five-year-old wasn't extended to account for Changing Times by three lengths.
Kilkenny-based Mrs Hurley was on hand to welcome back her winner with her husband Michael.
Stan James go 16/1 from 25s for the Neptune Investments Novice Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
