Bill The Yank does the job well
Bill The Yank and Barry Cash were much too good for their Ballinrobe opponents

Bill The Yank benefited from a lovely Barry Cash waiting ride to land something of a 'touch' in the Ballinrobe Rugby Football Club Handicap Hurdle.
The Accordion gelding, backed from 14/1 this morning into 7/1, came with his run on the final circuit. Shesonlyahorse had no more to offer approaching the straight and Bill The Yank went on to beat that Kevin McDonogh-trained mare by eleven lengths. McDonogh's daughter Yvonne Dunleavy supplied the third, Flying Bella four and a quarter lengths back.
Denis Quinn in County Clare trains Bill The Yank for his owner/breeder John Ryan. Quinn made headlines with his three in a row winning sprinter Captain Coke back in 2010. (DM & EM)
