Big-priced win for Plezantlysurprised

Plezantlysurprised was an appropriately named winner on a cruel day for punters at Dundalk today, landing the Follow Us On Social Media Handicap at 20/1, for trainer Jessica Magnier.
The son of Twilight Son had finished last on his previous run in March but today raced with the pace and eventually won the arm-wrestle with fellow front-runner Adams Barbour
Magnier was on lead-up duty and afterwards winning jockey Danny Sheehy said “I rode him previously over five (furlongs) and he was a little outpaced but his best form has been over six.
"There were cheekpieces equipped tonight, which definitely helped, and he jumped and travelled really well. He got his own way in front and kept up the gallop.
"At least he got his head in front and hopefully he can keep improving again, please God."
Plezantlysurprised's 20/1 success followed wins by Lily Pond at 7/1, Ocean Vision at 12/1, Suwappu s 16s and Fascinating Shadow at 33/1. The finale was won by Little Queenie at 17/2.
