Benruben (6s into 4/1 on the show) came out on top in the Download The BoyleSports App Handicap Chase.
Henry de Bromhead’s charge, a Grade 3 winner as a novice chaser last year, took over in front when Goulane Chosen unseated rider four out.
A good jump at the last sealed matters and he passed the post five and a half lengths in front of Thatsy (7/2).
Winning rider Dylan Robison said: "He seemed to love it (the ground) and travelled everywhere and jumped. I also felt like I had loads left in the tank.
"As soon as I asked him to quicken away from the last, it was all over.
"He has loads of class, he was just running in a lot of good company over the winter. That summer ground probably helps him that little bit better.
"Better ground he would be better again, so he should have a nice summer campaign. He jumped lovely - he's very careful, he gets in tight and pops away. He's not any way exuberant but he pops away.
"Henry (de Bromhead) was confident coming here today that he would be there with a shout anyway."
