It was easy to see where Andy Lynch's "he‘s good" reaction came from after Ben Dundee convincingly landed the Tegral Supporting Kildare GAA Maiden Hurdle at Naas.

"He will probably improve a bit after that. The plan was to have one run last season and we just left him off after that. He likes it soft and I was a bit afraid of the ground today," further explained Lynch.

He also reported stable star Zabana in good form after a run at Down Royal yesterday.

"It was just too short for him. He was on top of his head at halfway after making that mistake," stated the County Meath handler.

"He's come out of it very well and you wouldn't think he'd had a run yesterday.

"He's a three-mile horse, and there is a race at Gowran later this month (November 26) that he may go for next."

The Stewards fined J.S.Cullen, trainer of Dancing Rhythm, €350, having failed to lodge the passport on time for this horse, which resulted in the horse being withdrawn from this race. .

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Let's Twist Again trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal.

B.J. Geraghty, rider of Let's Twist Again trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

L.P. Dempsey, rider of Monastic trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.
