Bell has the winning feeling
Morethanafeeling (17) defeats Landsdowne

Two lady riders fought out the finish to the Tipper Road Apprentice Handicap at Naas today, with victory going to the Samantha Bell ridden Morethanafeeling (12/1). Landsdowne under Megan Carberry, appeared likely to win before Morethanafeeling swooped late for a head win, providing a second success of the season for jockey Bell, who is based with Kevin Prendergast.
Afterwards Monasterevin based winning trainer Christy Donoghue said “we needed a lot of patience with Morethanafeeling. We sweetened her up as she is a funny mare and a bad traveller. A mile is her trip and she needs a dig in the ground and Dundalk doesn't suit her.
There was an unfortunate incident in the race, before the entrance to the straight, when An Mhi (under Kate McGivern) broke a leg and slipped up, badly hampering Can We Dare who unseated Daryl Sweeney. Both jockeys, and Can We Dare, were subsequently fine.
