Bedford Row continues O'Grady's winning ways
Edward O’Grady has his string in excellent form at present and the Co Tipperary handler recorded his 12th success of the season when his Bedford Row justified 4/1 favouritism to win the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at Tipperary today.
The son of Montjeu, Patrick Mangan, appeared to have the measure of both Mr Bones and Island Lass (which suffered fatal injuries in the fall) when both his rivals came down at the final flight, eventually recording an eight lengths win.
Afterwards O’Grady mentioned "it took him a long time to win one, lets hope it doesn't take as long to win again!”
