Barry sent for chest x-rays
Jockey Shay Barry has been taken to Castlebar Hospital for chest x-rays following a fall at Ballinrobe today.
Barry, who was replacing David Casey on Fair Dilemma in the Ba Morley Handicap Hurdle, fell at the final flight but received a heavy blow from the body of Stonehatchedmad as the rider bounced from the ground.
Casey, who himself received a fall from the subsequently withdrawn Sir Whinstone before the opening maiden hurdle, is to undergo x-rays on his left arm.
