Baroque Style makes all for Elliott/Kennedy

The Gordon Elliott trained Baroque Style broke smartly and made all the running to justify 2/1 favouritism in the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust Handicap Hurdle at Navan today, under jockey Jack Kennedy.
Kennedy was more alert than most of his rivals at the start of the two miles contest but in truth the son of Old Vic had far much too much in hand and in the end beat Crowded Room by five lengths.
Afterwards Elliott stated "Jack gave him a good ride and it's great for the boys (Tom Howley and Ollie Murphy, owners).
"He's a low grade handicapper, he is what he is and I didn't know what trip he wanted but he probably enjoyed being up there."
