Just two lengths covered the first five horses home in the Crowne Plaza Of Dundalk Handicap at Dundalk this evening with victory going to the Tom McCourt trained Bangalore Diamond under Ian Brennan.
Brennan moved the son of Elusive City to challenge over a furlong out and eventually edged out Miss Bella by a head near the line.
McCourt later said “Bangalore Diamond doesn't do too much when he gets to the front but at least he won't get too much for only winning by a head! We'll keep him at it over the winter.”
