Ballivor comes good at the Curragh again
Curragh specialist Ballivor put some uninspiring form figures aside to come good in the Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital Handicap under Padraig Beggy at the Curragh.
The victorious seven-year-old slightly hampered If Per Chance inside the final furlong but the result was allowed to stand following a steward's enquiry. Ballivor prevailed from If Per Chance by half a length.
Winning trainer Bill Farrell said: "The ground made all the difference and he was fitter today too. This place and the wet ground suits him but he's had his problems."
