Bale O'Shea completes O'Hare double
Half an hour after Michael O'Hare's Montana Slim won the Brown Lad Hurdle, his stablemate Bale O'Shea completed a double for the yard when taking the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at Naas today.
Ridden by Peter Carberry, younger brother of jockeys Philip and Paul Carberry, Bale O'Shea chased the leaders before improving to lead two out, eventually staying on well for a four and a half lengths win over Fletch And Lenny
The win was Carberry's second career success.
