Baily Green made all to get off the mark over fences in the beginners chase at Roscommon.
The 9/1 shot was making his eighth start over fences and set a decent standard with an official mark of 123.
Mouse Morris' charge got his rivals working down the straight and kept on well in the closing stages to record a two-and-a-half length victory under David Casey.
Market principals Laganbank (7/4f) and Silverhand (3/1) kept on from the last, to finish second and third, but it was all too late.
"My intention was to jump out and make his experience count," said Casey afterwards.
"He jumped well and the better ground helped. He's a smart horse."
