Time For Art asserted in the closing stages to claim the opening maiden at Listowel this afternoon.
Fran Berry tracked the leaders on the Pat Fahy-trained filly in the six-furlong contest before launching his challenge going to the furlong pole.
The daughter of Excellent Art got on top from Expreso Brasileiro in the final 100 yards and kept on well close home for a length victory. Knockmaole Boy got up late on to grab the runner-up spot.
The 13/2 winner was fourth at big prices on her previous two outings and had only been beaten just over a length-and-a-half at Gowran Park earlier in the month.
"I liked her in Leopardstown and she ran well since then in Gowran," said Berry afterwards.
"She travelled well today. She got the split and quickened up well. She handled the ground well."
