Arrows hits the target
Little Arrows completed a double in the concluding Leopardstown Evening Meetings Handicap for Declan McDonogh (half-an-hour earlier he'd won on Take It Easee when the son of Danehill Dancer landed a bit of a 'touch' (10s in the morning into 9/2 fav) by three parts of a length.
This fellow, owned by Catherine O'Flynn got the better of Slapper (who had looked sure to score) in the last fifty yards.
Winning trainer Ken Condon said: "The run under his belt was a big help. Declan said he's tricky in that he is too keen at home but he is the opposite when he gets to the races. It's worked out well though."
