Armaramak lands Killarney feature
Armaramak landed a nice pot when claiming the www.lakehotel.com Handicap Chase at Killarney.
Edward O'Grady 's charge gained reward for his consistency when running out a convincing winner of the €28,500 event.
Andrew McNamara produced his mount to throw down a challenge before the second last and he asserted before the final fence.
He pulled clear in style on the run-in and had seven-lengths to spare at the death.
6/1 joint-favourite Francis Du Mesnil again found one too good, stretching his series of placed efforts to six.
The other market leader, Got Attitude had taken the field along before fading when headed before two out.
"He deserved to get his head in front and did it well," said O'Grady.
"I was concerned about the ground to be honest but we can't complain about it. He'll probably go for a chase in Listowel."
The winner is owned by the Galway-based Cathedral Syndicate.
