The Eddie Lynam trained Words Of Wisdom under 17 year old Ray Dawson, landed the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap at Leopardstown this evening.

Afterwards Lynam said “I’m delighted for Ray to have ridden a winner for me as his uncle Luke McMahon (a prominent bookmaker and owner) is a good friend of mine.”

He added “Ray rode out with us a few mornings and is a nice young lad, and like all winners, gave Words Of Wisdom a good ride!”
