Another Cliche provides Doran with first win
Joncol's half-sister Another Cliché made use of a feather weight to make a winning debut and provide jockey Michael Doran with his first racecourse winner, in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF/Doncaster Sales Mares Bumper at Limerick today.
Carrying just 9st 7lbs, the 4yo daughter of Classic Cliché outbattled 5/4f Our Girl Salley in the straight, to win by half a length.
The win was Doran's, 23yo from Wexford town and based with Another Clice's trainer Paul Nolan, first on the track, adding to two point to point wins.
Nolan was not present for the success.
