Ann off mark on chase debut
Tilly Ann made a winning debut over fences when taking the beginners chase at Downpatrick for trainer Noel Glynn.
The four-year-old was always prominent under Davy Condon and hit the front four from home.
She stayed on well in the closing stages to repel the challenges of Cru and Oran Flyer by a length-and-a-half and half-a-length.
"She was getting a lot of weight today. She jumped well and travelled well on the ground," said winning owner Martin Baker.
"She likes a nice bit of cut and we'll go for a novice chase now. I'm a neighbour of the trainer down in Clare."
