Pat Smullen completed a double this afternoon when Aladdins Cave took the ‘Tote Trifecta Rollover’ Handicap by a convincing two and a half lengths.

Smullen came with a well timed run to lead inside the final furlong and kept on well for cosy success over Princess Lomi

Winning trainer Murphy said afterwards: “He’s in again on Monday in Dundalk and depending on how he comes out of the race we’ll belt on with him.”

“I can’t wait to go back jumping with him. I’m delighted with him and he’s improving all of the time.”

Smullen was on the mark earlier when Be My Storm landed the Tote Jackpot Maiden for trainer Dermot Weld.
