Admiral gives Mulvany first juvenile success
Michael Mulvany saddled his first two-year-old winner when Admiraloftheboyne ran out a convincing winner of the opening auction maiden at Sligo.
Gary Carroll produced the colt to lead just inside the final furlong and he stayed on strongly to score by two lengths from Miss Windley
"We went to Galway hoping for a good run and he followed that up today," said Mulvany, who trains near Kells in County Meath.
"He needed that little bit of give to be at his best. Hopefully he's a good prospect. We think a lot of him.
"I don't know where we'll go with him now. He's a big weak horse and will do nothing only improve."
