Accident prone Bruach Na Mara scores at Killarney
Promising seven pound claimer Bryan Cooper was seen to good effect after he won division two of the Laurels Bar (C&G) Maiden Hurdle aboard Bruach Na Mara
Billy Harney's charge took up the lead travelling well at the third last flight and kept on well close home to hold off the late challenge of I Wonder Now by three parts of a length.
A delighted Harney remarked: "This fellow has been very unlucky in the past, he broke his pelvis and he was also involved in an motorway accident in which he was flung out of the horse box."
"So thankfully everything went right for him today and he needs good ground which he got today."
"The syndicate are very patient people and it's great he won for them."
The 2/1 favourite Gift Of Dgab was withdrawn at the start on veterinary advice.
