Gold Ability followed up on his maiden hurdle win at Galway as he took the Winner Alright Hurdle for his trainer Michael O'Hare with Robbie Colgan aboard.
The 5yo son of Old Vic was sent off the 2/1 second favourite behind the 5/4 favourite Zerashan for Davy Russell and Dessie Hughes.
He tracked the leaders for much of the race before hitting front at the third last.
He travelled well and went clear at the second last before being pushed out from the last to record a comfortable success over Zerashan in second.
The front running Strongpoint finished out of the placings back in third under Conor Maxwell for Pat Griffin at 20/1.
Winning trainer Michael O'Hare said afterwards: "He keeps improving from every run. He settled and jumped lovely today and he is a professional jumper.
"He'll go for a novice hurdle now. He bleeds and he has done for a while."
