A win at 2 a Plus point for Change

Some early offers of 11/4 this morning quickly evaporated about Plus Ca Change in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden at Dundalk and she duly prevailed with the minimum of fuss under Colin Keane.
The Invincible Spirit juvenile eventually went off at 5/6 and the well tipped-up Leopardstown fifth placer, on debut 60 days back, was soon to the fore in this seven furlong event, behind pace-setter Shine On
Once asked to go about her business about a furlong and a half out, it was soon looking bleak for Plus Ca Change's opponents and she ended up crossing the line three and a quarter lengths to the good from second favourite Maira
"That was fairly straight-forward and the way you'd like after a promising first run at Leopardstown," noted winning trainer Ger Lyons.
"Originally I thought we'd put her away after Leopardstown but Anthony (Rogers, winning owner) said it would be nice to win at two for her page.
"I was thinking the ground would be gone so we said we'd go to Dundalk.
"Hopefully she'll be a black-type filly next year." (AM & EM)
