78/1 Ballinrobe treble for Elliott
Tom Doran celebrates his double with Sanibel Island's jockey Nina Carberry

Gordon Elliott completed a Ballinrobe treble in the finale of the two day May meeting at the track, and there was a second winner for Mayo native Tom Doran, when Sanibel Island prevailed in the McHale Bale Wrappers INH Flat Race under Nina Carberry.
Carberry had to overcome trouble in running on the Scorpion gelding, a creditable second on his debut at Down Royal 118 days back.
However the 6/4 favourite had enough in the locker to go around the outside of runners approaching the straight, and to then see off Dawn Raider by three parts of a length.
Elliott and Doran had combined for a winner earlier with the Jack Kennedy partnered Carrig Cathal and the Cullentra House operator was also on the mark with Tiger Roll (Kennedy up too for Gigginstown House Stud).
"It has been a great evening. He is a nice horse and I think he will win a winners bumper," predicted Elliott.
He added: "He is still a bit weak."
"It's good to have a double for Tom Doran. I'm not sure where we will go with him, but he will go for a winners bumper. He might even travel across to Perth. He will jump hurdles next year."
