3 for Ryan and Mullins at over 36/1
John Ryan and Danny Mullins are happy men after their Sligo dominance

Danny Mullins could afford to ease Willow Grange to a walk crossing the line such was his dominance in the Why Not Sponsor A Race At Sligo Races In 2017 Handicap Chase. This capped a fantastic day for the County Kilkenny jockey and trainer John Ryan as it bought up a treble for the duo. Presenting Mahler and Draycott Place did Ryan and Mullins proud earlier, and here Willow Grange was the 6/5 favourite to beat three rivals and finally shed his maiden tag on attempt number thirty three.
It shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone to see a son of Turtle Island act so well in the demanding conditions, and he left the rest for dead from the penultimate fence.
At the line Willow Grange had fifteen lengths in hand over Gibbstown
"He's struggled for a long time and hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on him. He's okay in his own company," acknowledged Ryan.
He added: "He's by Turtle Island and had the soft ground today.
"I've had a good few doubles including here earlier this year but that's my first treble. This has been a lucky track for me, and it's a part of the country that has a special place in my heart."
