We thought we were beaten and looking at the photo finish he had his head to the floor, he dipped his head at the right time. He's a magical horse to have, a Galway festival winner, and for two small teams like ourselves to come down here and have a winner like that is brilliant. We'll enjoy it together. He was keen the whole way but we're down in Galway, we've had our winner and it's brilliant. He'll probably go on a bit of a holiday now as he's after having three quick runs. We're not worried about anything for the future at the moment.

He did it well again. We didn't know how he'd react on the ground but he obviously did it well on it. I'm delighted for Dillon, it's his first winner and he's only had a handful of rides. He's with me a few months. He's a great lad, works hard and he deserves the win. Where we go next with the horse I don't know. He's had two quick runs so we might give him a little bit of a break and see what comes up later in the year. He'll definitely jump fences in time as well.

After race at Downpatrick Thu, 13th Jul, 2023 (1st)
He has been here a couple of times but disappointed a couple of times, so that is the first time he has put it all together. We do like him, but we'll see how far he goes. He likes that better ground and he's not that terrible slow at home either. The man that owns him (Gerry McPolin) is literally only a few miles across the way and he likes to have a runner at Downpatrick. We are delighted and it is nice to have a winner up here for a local man. He hasn't a whole lot of mileage on the clock, I think he had had a few problems and a few issues.
