Reports in which The Road To Fame (IRE) was mentioned
Ewing times it well on Ambitious Fellow
Peter Fahey won the Connolly's RED MILLS EBF Auction Hurdle Final for the second year in a row as Ambitious Fellow served up a 40/1 surprise. Wed 27th AprMeyler takes The Road To Fame
The Road To Fame held on from fast-finishing Friends N Commerce to justify 5/4 favouritism in the first divide of the opening maiden hurdle over two miles three furlongs at Limerick. Sun 27th MarPromising Aione completes 114/1 plus Punchestown treble for Mullins
There was a second Susannah and Rich Ricci winner on the day, but more significantly a 114/1 plus Punchestown treble for Willie Mullins as point-to-point scorer Aione graduated successfully to the track in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction INH Flat Race. Tue 26th Nov
After race at Limerick Sun, 27th Mar, 2022 (1st)
He was workmanlike and all he does is stay and he wants further. He also wants it softer and just about got away with it. He is a tough little horse, jumps well and if the ground came up softish at Punchestown, he might go for the Connolly's Red Mills Series Final. It is great to have a first winner for Eddie Walsh, who was a good friend of my father and they were in business together years ago.
