The Joe Murphy trained The Pier rewarded plenty of morning market support when winning the Randles Hotel Killarney Handicap for trainer Joe Murphy and jockey Bill Lee. Mon 13th Jul
He was obviously fortunate but we think he will improve and he'll be better on better ground. He should also mature as an individual.

The Pier should make an ideal hurdler, and may make his jumping debut at Listowel.next month. We may run him on the Flat again in the meantime but he wouldn't want the ground any slower.

The Pier will hopefully make a lovely hurdler later in the year and will run next in a mile and a half handicap at Galway ¿ ground shouldn't be an issue with him.
