After race at Navan Sun, 27th Nov, 2022 (1st)
I was telling the lads (Damien and Colin Kelly, owners) going to Limerick that he would improve a good bit from it but when he won I was thinking how am I going to improve him from this.

After race at Limerick Sun, 23rd Oct, 2022 (1st)
we brought him in earlier to aim him at these good handicaps, as last year we were protecting his mark for the Welsh National but were unlucky. He made the mistake, the reins went over his head and was pulled up. He then went to Punchestown and got a bit of an injury. Keith (Donoghue) got on very well with him, he jumped and travelled for him and the whole way through the race, I was just hoping I had him fit enough to stay at it. The one thing about him is he does battle well and he was fit enough and stayed going. It is great to get a big pot. He will tip away and will aim for the Troytown and other staying chases and if he ended up being an Aintree horse I'd be delighted. I'm delighted for the Kellys who are a big family and are great supporters of racing - they'll enjoy it. The yard are in great form and everyone says how good their staff is but I think I have the best staff in racing.

After race at Punchestown Sun, 14th Feb, 2021 (1st)
His runs in all his beginners (chases) were good after coming back from a year off. I’m delighted for the Kellys (owners) as they are huge racing supporters and it’s great for them to win a good pot,.
Peter Fahey
After race at Naas Sun, 28th Jan, 2018 (1st)
he's a cracking horse and came highly regarded and Aidan Fitzgerald had him for his point-to-points. He's probably finished now and he'll have the whole spring and summer off and come back hurdling in the autumn. I'm delighted for the Kellys, from near Banagher in Co. Offaly, as the whole family are a big racing clan. They have had horses since 1982 and this is their first winner but their dad John isn't that well at the moment.
