Review naas 11th Nov
Ball D'Arc proved too strong for his rivals, despite giving them all 9lb, in the Poplar Square Chase at NaasSat 11th Nov
Destination could be Next big thing
Out of a 'Liss' dam with a point-to-point win for the Costellos to start off, Next Destination has the background of a potential top-notcher. He looked every bit of that when slamming his rivals in the Hospitality At Naas Maiden Hurdle. Sat 11th NovKivu makes impressive start for Mullins
Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh both recorded doubles when teaming up with impressive French recruit Lac Kivu in the two-and-a-half mile maiden hurdle at Punchestown. Wed 31st MayChampion Bumper preview
Carter McKay and Next Destination bid to give Willie Mullins a ninth success in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper at Cheltenham today. Wed 15th MarSomeday for Harrington after bumper winner
Someday was a well named winner of the bumper when rounding off a memorable afternoon for Jessica Harrington in the finale at Leopardstown. Sun 12th FebMullins winner arrives in finale
The almost inevitable Willie Mullins winner arrived in the finale on day one of the Punchestown Festival, when first-timer, Cilaos Emery (100/30 favourite) landed the Donohue Marquees INH Flat Race. Tue 26th Apr
After race at Leopardstown Sun, 12th Feb, 2017 (1st)
I think he just saw the big screen because he was running absolutely dead straight and suddenly he just jinked like that,. He’s a good horse. He hasn’t run since Punchestown as he had a few little problems and he’s a big weak horse. I thought the ground would find him out today. I think he was named that because someday he might be a helluva good horse. I’ll talk to the owner now and see where we go. There were a lot of horses fancied in it and I thought it was a very hot race. He did well to finish second first time out and he’s grown a lot since then. He just needs to develop a bit more.
Mrs John Harrington
