Reports in which Smack That (IRE) was mentioned

O'Dwyer/O'Shea on the mark at Limerick twelve months on
A year since Conor O'Dwyer and Niki O'Shea landed a brilliant double at Limerick with Uncle Tom Cobley and Ar Aghaidh Leat, the pair struck again at Greenmount Park when Presenting Massey landed the Greenmount Beginners Chase by a length and a half. Sun 31st Jan
Smack has Rothwell smiling
Philip Rothwell has endured a quiet time of late but Smack That put a smile back on the Tinahely handler's face with a neck success under Declan Bates in the Christmas Greetings Handicap Hurdle. Sat 19th Dec

Rothwell/Jackson inform at Navan
Following on from the successful gamble of Kimberlite King in the previous race punters scored again with another gamble this time from Philip Rothwell stable when Smack That(11/2 - 7/2) won The Christmas Greetings Handicap Hurdle under Shane Jackson. Sat 20th Dec
After race at Navan Sat, 19th Dec, 2009 (1st)
My horses weren't right but please God we'll have a good Christmas now. We've had a quiet time (last winner Vinnes Friend on the 24th of October at Wexford). We had a little problem with feed which we sorted and the horses are back flying at home now. That is Declan's third winner and he is a good kid. He'll ride plenty of winners.
P J Rothwell

After race at Navan Sat, 20th Dec, 2008 (1st)
He deserved to win here today, he's been a rock of consistency and has been placed on a number of occasions and he probably would have been placed in Cork the last day only he unseated Tom [Ryan] at the last. We came back with him a bit quick but it looked a tender enough handicap. He's in again over Christmas.
P J Rothwell
