Reports in which Sir Lynx (IRE) was mentioned
Sir Lynx in Ballinrobe shocker
Sir Lynx, with Shane Hassett up, caused a 28/1 surprise in an all-action John Madden & Sons Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe. Tue 25th JunReview tipperary 19th Apr
Long odds-on favourite Katchy Lady was forced to pull out all the stops to land the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at TipperaryThu 19th Apr
320K Sizer off the mark
He is a proper horse and is one that we think the world of. We started him off in a bumper at Leopardstown and I'd say there just wasn't enough strength in him at the business end that day. He has done a world of schooling. He'll run in a maiden hurdle next month and everything is geared towards going chasing with him. He is a fine big horse and I'd say that we won't see the best of him until he goes chasing. Thu 19th Apr
After race at Ballinrobe Tue, 25th Jun, 2013 (1st)
He was second in a maiden hurdle one time (at Tipperary in April 2012 when with Patrick Cody) but he lost his form. We tried him in point-to-points when we got him and it was on soft ground all the time. It's all about the ground with him. He fell here the last day but he had plenty of jumping experience. We'll work towards Galway now (the stable had three winners there last year). Georgie and Fantastic Gold might go there too, as well as a two-year-old maybe.
